Laurie and Richard are the black sheep since they live in California and hardly ever come to Texas. So much so that when Josh (of Julie and Matt clan) met and played with Jonah (of Laurie and Richard clan) he announced he loved playing with his new cousins. They had never met. They are one week apart. And although Allie thinks she can hang with the boys, clearly she was not the same as Josh's new boy cousin.
One afternoon all the kids were in the pool. Ryan got into throwing the kids up in the air. He got a great workout because they came one at a time until he said no more. Can you tell the California kids?
While they were being daredevils, the rest were just hanging out. Even the little ones like the pool.
Of course there was some non-pool fun to be had. Ryan is the oldest grandkid - but Steven being only one year older helped out as well. The two big boys played with and helped with the little ones:
The new boy cousins LOVED to play with the legos. They were building space ships and other various things. Then, of course, they spaceships needed to take off. (Mom don't look at this picture - Jonah can't help but climb on everything...)
All in all fun was had by all the cousins young and old.
Even the youngest was in on the action - who does not like a popsicle? I hope it is not another six years before they all get together again!

aw, how fun! I hope to live close to family when we all have babies! Well, Julia already got started - she'll be the one with the "older cousin" like you!
